About Me

My Photo
One of my top priorities in life is to endeavour to live it as an inspired person: to see the world as fresh promise of the curious and strange; every morning the unexplored, beautiful and possible - even on those days where it seems nothing's going right. I'm a lover of hot sauce and cookie dough. A Creator. I translate abstractions others are unwilling or unable to do. I slice, I dice, I even make chips. I've learned a few things out here in the world, though the greatest, most fascinating, most important thing I've learned is how much I don't know. I'm forever seeking the trail of the next adventure, big, small, foreign or domesti - even the next postcode. I'd love to get a Eurail pass and hitch a trail ‘cross Europe. The Romance of a tooled leather-bound atlas has always held a certain appeal: faraway places with strange sounding names.

Cool Stuff You Can't Get in Britain

Kraft Dinner is a super idea. It is simply easy cook Macaroni Cheese. Ideal iron ration provisions as a full box of 225g makes 1000 cal. if made with Milk butter and real cheese. The candy is North American, by Hershey Canada Inc., Mars and Cadbury-Schweppes. As with much of the food in the continent, serving size is larger than British, though relatively bland, or one note flavour. Even the smallest candy bar here, the "Wunderbar", is a "mere" 58g, with the largest, Hershey's "Oh Henry!", dominates the scales at a 410 calorie, belly surrendering 85g. Can you say Diabetes?

1 Commentaries:

  1. Kraft dinner is avail in the UK, but usually one facing, I found it once in Safeway, 2 quid a box, which is a scandalous $4 bloody dollars.

One can buy it here for $13 for 24 boxes, which is 54 cents a box, about 27p a box.
